What's New for the 2019 GMC Yukon?

For the 2019 model year, GMC has introduced two new edition packages for the SLT (4SA) model: the Graphite edition and the Graphite Performance Edition. 

The Graphite Edition offers:
  • Special 22-inch strongly built wheels 
  • Blacked-out exterior trim
  • Upgraded suspension to handle higher payloads
The Graphite Performance Edition offers:
  • Specialized 6.2-liter V8 L86 (EcoTec3 family) engine with a 10-speed transmission
  • 8-inch display touchscreen
  • 170-amp alternator
  • Two-speed active transfer case (for 4WD models)
  • Z95 Magnetic Ride Control with adaptive suspension
GMC has added three new exterior colors-Dark Sky Metallic, Pepperdust Metallic, and the Smoky Quartz Metallic. These colors look spectacular on both new 2019 Yukon editions.

GMC's Yukon lineup includes the standard Yukon and lengthier Yukon XL. The two body styles have not changed significantly except for the addition of tire-fill alert to the tire-pressure monitor.

GMC offers a choice of two big V8 engines that come with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive:

  • Mighty 6.2-liter engine that produces a 420hp, 460 lb-ft of torque (standard in Denalis and with the new Graphite Performance Edition package)
Equipped with a muscular V8, the Yukon provides ample power to perform energetically on the highway, or tow as much as 8,500 pounds.
