The 2022 GMC Acadia has two engine options for the model year. The base model engine is GMC's capable 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder engine. With 228 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque, this engine also comes with stop-start technology. For a more powerful engine, you have the ability to upgrade to a 3.6L V6 model that has an improved 310 horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of torque. When equipped with the standard engine option the Acadia is capable of towing 3,300 pounds. This capability is expanded to 4,000 pounds if you opt for the upgraded 3.6L engine. At its best, the 2022 Acadia gets an EPA estimated 22mpg in the city and 29mpg while traveling on the highway.Interior and Technology Features of the 2022 GMC Acadia
As mentioned earlier, the interior of the 2022 Acadia features comfortable seating for up to seven across its three rows of seats. The Acadia also features expansive cargo space, especially with the 2nd and 3rd row seats folded down, which gives you a maximum cargo area of 79 cubic feet. On the technology side of things, the Acadia comes equipped with a standard 8" infotainment system and has available WiFi hotspot capability. There are also available camera options like a rearview mirror camera and a HD surround vision camera to help you navigate tight spaces. Your interior can also be upgraded with a premium Bose sound system so all of your road trips come accompanied by crisp audio.
